The National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is a bicameral legislature established under section 4 of the Nigerian Constitution. It consists of Senate with 109 members. The Assembly has broad oversight functions and is empowered to estab lish committees of its members to scrutinize bills and the conduct of government officials. The Advance Technology improves representations, transparency, accountability, openness and effectiveness in the complex parliamentary environment. Doing more work with less efforts in the national assembly is the main aim of using ICT implementation in strategic planning. This application helps Senator’s work on detailed activities mainly the order paper, bills, Session Calendar, Committees, Constitution and communication (emails/voice/video).

The House of Representatives is the lower chamber of Nigeria's bicameral National Assembly. The House of Representatives has 360 members who are elected in single-member constituencies using the plurality (or first- past-the- post) system. The technology stack used improves representations, transparency, accountability, openness and effectiveness in the complex parliamentary environment. This application helps House of Reps ease their day-to-day parliamentary operations mainly the order paper, bills, Session Calendar, Committees, Constitution and communication (emails/voice/video).

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) is the agency responsible for assessing, collecting and accounting for tax and other revenues accruing to the Federal Government of Nigeria. The web and back-end interface created a Unified Communication portal for the citizens, tax payers and the FIRS staff. The interface advocates creation, verification and communication of content in form of text, pictures and videos. The platform acts as a communica tion bridge between FIRS and the citizens of federal Republic of Nige ria. Dynamic module creation assists the staff of FIRS to create new informative campaigns in form of news, alerts, pictures, videos etc.; and on the other hand, it also acts as a bridge for vendors and poten tial candidates who would like to work for FIRS. As a natural progres sion to the portal, we are also in talks to launch a mobile version which will advocate ease of use of the portal for the citizens of Nigeria.

The File Tracking System (FTS) converted physical Files of SMEDAN into electronic form, enabling fast movement/ retrieval and tracking of Files. File Tracking System (FTS) enabled SMEDAN to determine the contents of each File irrespective of its Geographical location.

The objective was to verify ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition) entries. We received data (scanned tiff images) in the SQL database as an input. We had to verify data and upload in Microsoft Access.
